The Hilton Los Cabos is a resort located just 10 minutes from Twin Dolphin Club. We recommend booking your room as soon as possible!

If you plan to join us for all weekend events, we recommend arriving by Friday, May 9th and departing Monday, May 12th, but please feel free to extend your stay!

Cabo San Lucas offers many other safe and affordable lodging options. If you're looking for an alternative to the Hilton to accommodate your family, we recommend checking out VRBO or Airbnb first!

Uber, Taxi, and Rental Cars

We will provide transportation to and from the Hilton Los Cabos for any events located off-property. Here are some other options for getting around.

Uber is widely available and should be your main form of transportation if you want to explore off-property. And they are much cheaper than taxis! If you plan to take an Uber from the airport, you will need to meet the driver on the departures level (second floor of the airport terminal) as Uber is not allowed to pick up passengers on the arrivals level inside the airport.

Los Cabos taxis are safe, mostly English-speaking and widely available, but note that taxis do not use meters so trip fare should be negotiated before getting in the car. If you choose to use a taxi from the airport, the trip to your hotel from the airport should cost you around $40-50 USD. Please ask the driver to confirm the amount before starting your trip. Taxis are cash and USD only!

If you feel more comfortable driving your own vehicle, Hertz is the best and most reliable agency serving the Los Cabos area. You can also find other rental accommodations using Kayak or Expedia.

All US travelers must have a valid US passport for the duration of their stay for return travel to the US - so make sure it's up to date! For our family and friends with little ones: Every person, no matter how young, needs a passport if leaving one country and entering another.

We love all the children in our lives but have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only event. We hope you will understand our decision and take the opportunity to let your hair down!

We'd love to celebrate with you and your children at the welcome reception, on the pickleball court, and at the pool on Saturday if they are able to make the trip.

The Hilton Los Cabos is a family-friendly resort and offers childcare on-property. We're happy to help you make arrangements, too.

Our wedding ceremony and reception is black tie optional. We suggest that men wear a formal suit in any color and women wear a floor or mid-length dress, or a nice pantsuit. And after all, it's Cabo! Don't be afraid of color!

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is the main airport serving the Los Cabos area and is 20 miles from the the Hilton Los Cabos. This should be a ~ 40-minute scenic drive from the airport and should cost you $40 USD by taxi or upwards of $130 USD one way by shuttle arranged by the hotel.

Ubers are widely available and should be your main form of transportation if you want to explore off-property. And they are much cheaper than taxis!

Taxis are also safe and widely available. Taxis are not metered, so you should confirm or negotiate the fare price before getting in any taxi. Please note that taxis are cash (USD) only!

The currency in Mexico is the Mexican peso; however, US dollars ($USD) are widely accepted in most resorts and restaurants.

In May, Cabo has beautiful weather with sunshine-filled days and minimal rain (likely none at all). Expect warm temperatures in the mid-80s during the day and low 70s in the evening. There is also the possibility of high winds, which can make it feel very chilly. We recommend bringing some light layering options for the evenings, especially for the reception which is located in an area that can get windy.

The Los Cabos area is fortunate to have 21 miles of sandy shoreline. The majority of beaches in Los Cabos are not safe for swimming due to strong undercurrents and riptides, however, the Hilton Los Cabos boasts one of the only swimmable beaches in the area.

The closest hospital recommended by the US embassy with English-speaking physicians is called the H+ Hospital in San Jose del Cabo which is about 10 minutes away from the Hilton. Their phone number is +52 (624) 104-9300.

Yes, absolutely! You do not need a day pass to attend the welcome party on Friday. If you plan to be on property for any activities on Saturday including pickleball or the pool party, you will need a day pass to access the Hilton's facilities. A full day pass is $115 USD per person or a 6-hour day pass is $50 USD per person. You may book a day pass or additional amenities at the Hilton Los Cabos by contacting the concierge or on Resort Pass.
